Terms of sale
The agreement
These terms govern purchases from innovationsofa.no, operated by Compact Living AS (org. no. 921 887 922, Bygdøy allé 69 E, 0265 Oslo, Norway). Norwegian law applies; for consumers, the Consumer Purchases Act and the Cancellation Act apply mandatorily.
Ordering and payment
Your order is binding once the order confirmation has been emailed.
Payment is by invoice with 14-day terms, sent with the order confirmation. Production starts once the invoice is paid. Card, Vipps and Klarna are coming; these terms will be updated first.
Obvious pricing errors do not bind the seller; you will be notified immediately if one occurs.
Delivery
Delivery time is about 4 weeks for standard fabrics, counting from when the invoice is paid. Goods are produced and shipped flat-packed from the factory in Denmark to addresses in Norway. In Oslo, delivery with assembly is available as an add-on service; the price is confirmed before the invoice is sent.
You will be notified by email of any delay with a new estimated date. A substantial delay entitles you to cancel.
Inspect the goods on receipt. Transport damage should be reported as soon as possible, preferably within 7 days, with photos.
Right of withdrawal
You have a 14-day right of withdrawal from receiving the goods (Cancellation Act). Notify us by email; a withdrawal form is available on the withdrawal page.
Return costs are borne by the buyer. Goods must be returned in essentially the same condition, preferably in original packaging.
Refunds are issued within 14 days of us receiving the return, to the same payment method.
Complaints and warranty
You have a 5-year right of complaint under the Consumer Purchases Act (furniture is durable goods).
In addition, Innovation Living provides a 5-year manufacturer’s warranty on all models; the certificate is on each product page. The warranty adds to your statutory rights.
Complaints go in writing to post@compactliving.com. We respond within 14 days.
Liability
We are not liable for indirect losses beyond what follows from mandatory law.
On-screen colours may differ from physical textiles; fabric samples are available via the showroom.
Disputes
Disputes are resolved under Norwegian law. Consumers may complain to the Norwegian Consumer Authority. Venue is Oslo. The EU ODR platform is available at ec.europa.eu/odr.
